Fruit Cocktail Puree

What do you get when you puree not 1, not 2, but 4 fruits?  A delicious fruit cocktail puree that you can use for multiple things:

–          Feed an infant who is still on pureed solids.

–          Use the mixture instead of syrup on top of French toast/waffles etc..

–          Use the fruit cocktail mixture add yogurt and make smoothies.

–          Make frozen pops (zoku)

Wow.. so many things can be made from a fruit cocktail puree?  Are there other uses that I have missed? If so let me know.

I loved the taste of this fruit cocktail and needless to say both the kids ate their first serving and then some. I like how this puree does not have any added sugar, all the sweetness came from the fruits. I like how I am getting a dose of antioxidants, potassium, vitamin A, beta- carotene, and enzymes to aid in digestion in this fruit cocktail.

So wondering what was in it?

Mango, Apple, Strawberry and Papaya. YUM!

Here’s how I made the puree:

Toss equal parts of all the cut fruits above and puree in a blender.
