Last week I did a post on how we have been using Agave Nectar more in our household as a substitute for Sugar. So far we have loved the taste and the other benefits that come from Agave Nectar. Here’s a simple Agave Chocolate Ice-cream recipe that I made at home and everyone loved especially the 2 year old, but then which 2 year old doesn’t like ICE CREAM.
2 cups heavy cream, well chilled
1 cup whole milk or 2% milk. (Whole milk just makes the ice cream creamier)
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon chocolate powder (drinking chocolate)
1/3 cup Agave Nectar
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Transfer the ingredients from the bowl to an ice cream maker and let it run for 30 mins. Transfer the frozen ice cream into a container and put it in the freezer for 2-3 hours before serving.
