Recipe: Vanilla Chocolate Zoku

Chocolate Vanilla Zoku

Chocolate Vanilla Zoku

Here’s another yummy Zoku recipe.  This has been so popular in our home that we have eaten it daily for the last 3 days.  It’s good old Vanilla and Chocolate.  Who doesn’t like either of these flavors?   So simple and yet so delicious!  To make things interesting and give the Zoku it a slightly different texture for each flavor, I used yogurt for one flavor and milk for the other.

Normally I would use homemade yogurt and flavor but sometimes you just don’t have time to do things from scratch and I like to try new things to spice things up. I layered this Zoku so we were able to enjoy each texture and flavor on its own.

Here’s the recipe:

Equal parts of low fat vanilla yogurt and low fat chocolate milk.

1)      Put the Zoku stick into the Zoku maker.

2)      Put the first flavor in till the height you want. Let it freeze for about 2-3 minutes.

3)      Add the second flavor till the height you want and let it set for 2-3 minutes.

4)      Add the first flavor again till the finish line and let it freeze for 3 minutes.

This Zoku takes a little longer than the other Zoku because you need to let each layer set before adding another layer.

Enjoy! Let me know if you like it.
