I love taking something store bought and kicking it up a notch. For instance, I find store bought naan blah, a type of flat bread extremely popular in South Asia, there’s no comparison with the naans you get in Indian restaurants. You cannot make Naan at home easily unless you have a tandoor, an indian BBQ grill, or recipes that let you make something close to naan. We generally eat Naan only in restaurants but here’s a little simple recipe to turn plain store bought naan into a delicious and gourmet snack, bread, or an appetizer. You can do this in less than 5 minutes.
I used the Seedless Lemons sold exclusively at Ralph’s by Frieda’s, The Specialty Produce Company. Although the true benefit of a seedless lemon comes from using the inside, i.e no need to ever remove a seed, the same size of these seedless lemons makes it easy for the kids to make lemon zest. We love these seedless lemons as I can make lemon flavored water without having to worry scooping up the lemon seeds.
